There Is None Like You

Scripture:

Romans 11:33-36

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out! 

34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?" 

35 “Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them?" 

36 For from Him and through Him and for Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. 

Devotional:

This text is a "Doxology" (a short hymn of praise to God)  that was written by the Apostle Paul.

Indeed there is no one like the Lord our God. We can search the world over and we will never find one like God. 

There is a song that is sung by Vashawn Mitchell titled "Nobody Greater." The words of the song talk about our Infinite God.

"I climbed up to the highest mountain I looked all around, couldn't find nobody. Went down into the deepest valley, looked all around down there, couldn't find nobody. I went across the deep blue sea, couldn't find one to compare to Your grace, Your love and Your mercy. Nobody greater, nobody greater than you. Searched all over. and couldn't find nobody. Nobody greater, nobody greater, nobody greater than You. Nobody can heal like you can. I looked high and low and still couldn't find nobody. No body greater, nobody greater, nobody greater than You Lord."

 As I ponder on these words and reflect on the goodness of God in my life, all I could do is bow in humble submission to God the Father who can not be compared to none for He alone is Holy, Mighty and a Great God. There is none like Him!

Man simply does not have the mental capability to fully understand God. God’s ways and thoughts are beyond our comprehension. God Himself declares in Isaiah 55:8-9 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are my ways your ways, declares the Lord. 9-As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. 

I love you Lord for there is none like you. No one can touch my heart like you. I can search all eternity Lord and find there is none like you.
